The Great Minnesota Get Together

It's been a week already...we went to the MN State Fair last Thursday. It's always a fun place to be, and it helps that we went when it wasn't as busy and it was beautiful out. (well not steamy hot anyway or rainy). We got there about 9:30am. Plans were to get there sooner, but nobody set an alarm to get up, besides Bailey who set his phone alarm for 5:45am, woke up and came downstairs and fell asleep again.

We had to be home by 6:30pm for school open house, and we just bearly made it with traffic coming home and all.

We had a fun time, and Steve and I ate what we could, including corn on the cob, foot long hot dog, pronto pup, popcorn, pork chop on a stick, pretzel, frozen lemonade, gosh..I wish I could have had more.... kids bearly made a dent in the food department with popcorn, pizza, sno cones, and cotton candy. Ranks up there as one of the most non healthy days of the year.
